I don’t think so, although, as in most things, circumstances
determine cases. In preparing the budget for a school journey, be t a day trip or an extended visit, it is quite legitimate to include reasonable staff expenses within the costings which
determine how much pupils pay.
It is reasonable to assume that transport costs and subsistence will be covered.
