Tea Council extends website

The non-commercial Tea Council has extended its popular website with an interactive module on ecology aimed at key stage 2.

The aim of “T is for Trees”, a tie-up with Future Forests, is to get children to raise funds for tree planting by hosting tea parties. The school that holds the most creative tea party and the school that plants the most rees per head will receive awards from Children’s BBC TV presenters Kate Heavenor and Emma Ledden.

This is one of the best websites I have seen for young children - the only disappointment is the sterile-looking forestry map of the UK on which children can pinpoint where they want their trees planted. www.teatrail.com Debbie Davies
