Each volume contains about 120 pages of extracts from research papers and books, framed by a commentary, together with suggestions for trainees to work out how to test academic findings in real classrooms. Topics in Primary Mathematics include problem-solving and calculation strategies, while Primary Science looks at children’s ideas and the nature of scientific enquiry.
