I notice that Ed Balls, Schools Secretary at the Deparment for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), is threatening schools with tougher budgets (“Federate or axe staff, Balls warns”, November 27). Is this the same DCSF advertising for “Children and Learners Strategic Advisers” on salaries of #163;75,000 to #163;95,000? Yes, I think it is.
