The School With One Dog For Every Three Pupils

School dogs are not an entirely new phenomenon - but seven in a school where there are only 24 pupils?

The dogs at Kinloch Rannoch Primary, in Highland Perthshire, Scotland, help with  reading, nursery play, dance classes and much more besides. They settle children’s nerves in school shows - two even took on roles in the most recent nativity - and help calm children who may be struggling with aspects of school.

Subscribers can read more about the Kinloch Rannoch dogs in this week’s Tes and Tes Scotland.
