The winner of last month’s caption competition is Miles Halliwell, director of research at NFER-Nelson, Windsor (see caption). He wins our suprise prize, a Visor Deluxe handheld computer. This comes from Handspring, the people who originally developed the Palm Pilot, nd has even more features for the price (see review in TES Online, September 8, 2000). It gives high-speed USB synchronization with both PCs and Macs. A unique slot in the back allows for add-ons such as a modem or digital camera.
