Wisdom of soothsayers - upon Gove’s entry to the Capitol

Michael Gove has addressed scientists at the Royal Institution and appeared on BBC2‘s Late Review arts show. He is obviously an intelligent and cultivated man with eclectic taste, and as such is refreshingly well suited to being our new Education Secretary.

I hope that such an enlightened individual will not fail to see that the Ofsted re-inspection of “good” or “outstanding” schools after only three years - which is presently the case - can only cramp the style of any pedagogue wishing to teach creatively and achieve academic excellence.
