Xchange, a new website from CBBC and BBC children’s education, offers 7 to 12-year-olds a safe but entertaining and educational Internet experience. All content - everything from Westlife to wildlife, football to fencing, and ponies to penpals - is appropriate to the age group and there are n chat areas. Xchange will also offer a reward system, with users earning online “stamps” by playing games or taking quizzes and taking part in online challenges that can be exchanged for prizes. The site is integrated with the CBBC show of the same name.
