Freuchie Cricket Club, in Fife, is to extend its coaching activities for schoolchildren over the winter by offering the chance of indoor sessions at Cupar, Glenrothes or Leven.
After successfully restructuring its youth programme, more than 60 children attend evening sessions at the Fife club and it can put out a full girls’ XI at under-13 level. The problem has been finding them opposition.
