The first TESECCTIS 2000 National Career Teachers Conference, to be held on June 21-22 at Hall 2, Wembley Conference and Exhibition Centre, Wembley, Middlesex, will consider how we should support our young people to prepare for careers in the 21st century.
The principal speakers will address this main theme from their perspectives of government, educational leadership, industry and careers guidance, with a panel of experts taking part in each session to offer open debate on the issues discussed.
The conference, designed for teachers, careers advisers, university and college admissions officers and employers, is running alongside Directions 95 - The Schools’ Fair, and the programme has been designed as four half-day sessions, to enable teachers to allow their students to visit the exhibition.
Session one - 9.30 June 21
