There must be an attraction in what used to be called personnel affairs. But educationists left at the chalkface will be interested in whether Strathclyde’s director can persuade high heid-yins at the Daily Mail and its Sunday equivalent to stop their perpetual teacher-bashing campaigns.
Also, will he train the London Evening Standard to be less anti-Scottish?
