Ministers are to consider whether children need advice and information about cyberporn, as part of sex education.

Sex education guidance for schools does not mention the Internet.

Margeret Hodge, children’s minister, said: “Whether we are doing enough about experiences through the internet is questionnable, if I’m honest.”

Her comments came as she helped launch an interactive on-line animated programme, designed to help technophobe-parents ensure their children’s safety in cyberspace, as part of this week’s parents online safety week.
