A group of pupils at Mosslands High School have won an award for looking out for other pupils’ well-being. The group, Journey of Your Mind, won the Diana Certificate of Excellence.

Ten pupils from Bradway Primary School in Sheffield won a trip to South Africa. They went to two World Cup games and visited township schools in Johannesburg.

These may not look much like any teaching aids you know, but they seem to be working. Bristol Zoo has been recognised for the quality of its teaching with a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.

Going for a paddle: Mayor of London Boris Johnson visited Burlington Danes Academy to launch a table tennis competition for pupils at schools belonging to the ARK network.

Green-fingered pupils at South Harringay Infant School in London have been discovering the simple life. The school is part of a city-wide drive to introduce urban children to the delights of growing their own food.
