Plastics provide some of our most versatile materials and our biggest ecological threats. This duality informs the stimulating materials on the CD-Rom Plastics and the Environment. This KS2 resource from Fyffes helps children think of their responsibilites as consumers. They can find out about the history of plastics, learn how they are made and explore how they are used in packaging. Good ideas and printable worksheets are provided for some enjoyable design activities. Pupils can also experiment with a biodegradable black bag (included with the pack).

Five hundred copies of the Plastics and the Environment CD-Rom pack are available free, for details see the coupon on page 2.
