DfE publishes list of 28 successful applicants for the third round of the SSIF
The Department for Education has announced a list of successful applicants for the third round of the Strategic School Improvement Fund (SSIF).
The £140 million programme, announced by then-education secretary Justine Greening in 2016, was set up to target resources at maintained schools and academies “most in need of support” to “drive up standards, use their resources most effectively, and deliver more good school places”.
In today’s round, 28 bids worth a total of £10.1 million were approved.
