WATCH: Thousands join climate strikes around Scotland

Thousands of pupils and students in Scotland have been protesting today against inaction over the climate crisis.

They joined young people around the world in calling for greater urgency from politicians, despite concerns that they could be punished for missing school.

Messages on their placards included "Scotland, you're not too wee to change the world", and "If you were smarter, I would be in school".
