Thousands of children have already seen the animated buddy movie Shark Tale and heard the underwater voices of Will Smith and Robert De Niro. A CD-Rom from Film Education allows key stage 2 enthusiasts to keep the “fin-fun” going in the classroom. If they want to “represent da story”, they can recreate or rewrite scenes using an active storyboard. If their interest lies more with controlling cartoon colours and shapes, they can ask the CD to “show me the bling bling”. There is also a chance to mix some hip-hop beats while adding rhyming words about “my peeps in the reef”.
