Film Education has added a new online resource to its website aimed at key stage 1 and 2 teachers of literacy, geography, science and art and design. Over the Hedge tells the story of Verne the turtle and his friends waking from hibernation to find a hedge in the middle of their woodland home. The friends are shocked by the appearance of the hedge and worry about their lack of food. RJ the racoon tells them there is nothing to worry about as over the hedge they will find all the goodies they need.
The DreamWorks animation of Over the Hedge is being shown in cinemas now.
