This lessons looks at the form and structure of a poem. Students develop their understanding of form and structure by looking at a range of shapes and considering their different meanings. The lesson then moves on to single quotes, enabling students to begin to explore and analyse language.
This works well as an introduction to poetry at KS3, or can be used as a start of KS4 Poetry work. Enables students to look at the shape and structure of a poem.
