Here is an updated version of my own design that I am using for my PGCE. It allows for episodic lesson structure, as well as allowing for the nature of the episode to be stated. There is a key provided to help choosing the correct term, which itself helps in structuring a good MFL lesson. I have included a word version so the number of episodes can be altered according to the particular lesson. The pdf version is there to show you how the form should sit on the page, in case your word version moves the boxes about. I also include a sample lesson to show how it can be used.

This is a workbook I designed to teach Egyptian Arabic to a year 12 class who took it as an option. It has been designed for a short intensive course consisting of seven 1-hour sessions. There is an accompanying scheme of work, again of my own design available in my resources.

Worksheet and audio for a Year 9 AT1 assessment/exercise, which enables the pupils to demonstrate they are working at level 6.

This resource allows teachers to record NC levels and Languages Ladder levels for each piece of pupils’ work. Each class should have five copies, one for each skill. Note that I differentiate between spoken production [AT2(a)] and spoken interaction [AT2(b)]. I also have a slightly adapted version for KS4 and KS5 without the NC levels, which I shall upload shortly.

This is an activity I have used with GCSE French classes whereby they have to classifying connectors according to their function, such as adding information, contrasting information, etc.

This is a general reading activity for AS German that I designed based around the topic of lifestyles.
