American West - The Mormons

(2)
A double lesson on why the Mormons travelled West. You can choose to show the South Park episode All About Mormons, however be advised that it does contain a small amount of bad language and will carry a 15 rating. However I found it a very effective way of engaging pupils with the topic and giving them an understanding of the origins of the Mormon religion. The episode can be found at http://southpark-zzone.blogspot.co.uk/2008/12/south-park-zone_2723.html or is available on iTunes for £2.49 in HD quality (iTunes is needed to play it due to DRM playback restrictions).
