Differentiated sheets for children to draw 3 things that they do at different times in the day and write a brief caption.

A quick intro to Rio 2016, aimed at Reception / KS1. Hope it is of use!

A promethean flipchart including mental starter and the 'halving mat' for the main activity. I used it for a maths observation for Y1. I sprayed pebbles gold for them to use as the counting objects but you could use anything!

A really fun investigation where children have to see how many different combinations of 3 colours they can use. Includes a promethean flipchart for introduction with a shape related oral/mental starter.

2 Differentiated sheets for a really fun, practical maths session. Children can work alone in groups to find the items, make estimates and then use bucket scales to test their predictions.

A fantastic , fun way to introduce T&Us in KS! A really interactive maths flipchart that uses two different characters. The children loved this and it gave them a great way to recall what was what within a 2 digit number. Also includes a helpful mental starter that feeds in and gets them thinking conceptually.

Activity for children to describe Mrs Armitage's character traits and then their own.

An activity to tie in with the Olympics. Chn colour the rings and draw a special friend inside each one. I used this after showing the children the Olympic Powerpoint which can be found in my resources.

2 Promethean Flipcharts that lead into book work, I used for consecutive lessons to Y1. The first one is to design and label their perfect classroom. The second is to think about and write about a special place that they feel happy and safe. Hope it's useful!

A powerpoint I used to begin my Year 1 Natural Materials Art unit. Looking at what sculpture is in a very simple way, and moves into focusing on Andy Goldsworthy's outside work. A presentation I have made to introduce a simple composting initiative at school. It tells children why composting is important, how to manage their classroom composting and what they can put into the bins.

This is a presentation to prompt discussion and thinking about some famous self-portraits. Includes a list of prompt questions for the teacher. We used this as a carpet input before the children painted their own portraits. Used for Reception, but would also be appropriate for Y1-2.

I made this for some boys in my class who are slow changers! It shows pictures to help them organise themselves, seemed to work well! This one is for boys clothes but could be easily adapted for girls.

This is a flipchart to introduce a practical activity I did with a lower Y1 set. The activity after input is to take off their shoes, line them up and count in 2s. Then we lead into recording a repeated addition (2+2+2=) etc .

A simple tick sheet for Letters and Sounds Phases 2 and 3. I used as a baseline and then a mid term assessment.

A fun, quick-fire Powerpoint of Tricky words and HFWs to flick through as revision. and Resources for a Tricky Word Hunt (Stick them around the room and children work in pairs to find them and tick them off of the other sheet. and Handwriting practise sheets for Tricky Words. I made it for my Reception class but could be good for Year 1 too.

This is a ppt that I have done for my Reception children learning at home. It could be used at school too. It is about the way Eric Carle makes his pictures using cut out paper, leading to a task to create your own piece of art in the same style. :)
