Brief chronological list (1977-2005) of some Spanish laws (equality men-women, divorce, abortion, gay marriage etc) relevant to the AQA topic "Los valores tradicionales y modernos". It complements the topic, giving students an overview of the quick changes in Spanish society and family structures during that period. By researching when these changes happened in their own country, and filling in the table provided, students get a wider view which allows them to compare the evolution of both their and Spanish society. Most verbs are in the preterite tense, although this document does not focus on grammar.
