we have built in regular assessment points into our schemes of work. At each of these 6 points during the year, they complete a listening, reading, translation and writing assessment. With the 3 year KS4, we have got the time to conduct these and we are noticing already the positive impact that this is having. Each student is given an assessment folder in Y9 and this passport follows them through. It acts as one of our marking as per school policy but more importantly, allows teachers to track progress throughout the year and more importantly, across the KS4, which hen informs interventions etc…
