The ORIGINAL Rhyming Nativity EYFS & KS1

PLEASE USE AND ADAPT THIS RHYMING NATIVITY. IF YOU DO REPOST IT I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD ACKNOWLEDGE MY INITIAL WORK AND NOT TRY TO PASS IT OFF AS YOUR OWN! :) This is a simple nativity written in rhyme. I wrote it for my Reception class - the main idea is that everyone speaks together in rhyme! You don't have to worry about children learning parts, or being away. The narrator can be an adult or child. There are suggestions for songs; other songs based on nursery rhymes are included.

Spring Celebration Assembly.

This is a Spring Celebration Assembly for Foundation Stage, using simple songs and poems. I had groups of children to say the parts in speech marks and other children playing instruments in the songs. It could be adapted to include more spring festivals from other cultures, eg Holi. Anyway it is a simple outline that you can use if you are stuck! Oh... and it lasts about 8 minutes in this format!!!

EYFS/KS1 Call and Response Nativity (Short!)

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE AND ADAPT THIS NATIVITY. IF YOU REPOST IT I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD ACKNOWLEDGE MY INITIAL WORK AND NOT TRY TO PASS IT OFF AS YOUR OWN! This is a SHORT call and response song. It can be sung by two groups, one calling and the other responding or with an adult as the caller . The caller sings the first line, and everyone else copies it as the response, and so on. I took the inspiration from the song about “We’re going on a bear hunt” , so that’s the kind of tune that it needs! I'm performing it with xmas songs and hymns either side it!
