A genre scavenger hunt perfect for Book Day. Print out the cards and hide them outside or around your class. The children then have a copy of the recording sheet. They then read each card work out the genre the card is describing and fill in this on the recording sheet. They then use each red underline letter to unlock the secret message! I’d recommend recapping or teaching the different genres beforehand. Publisher file so you can edit the title to suit your class! The answers are 1. Adventure 2. Traditional Fairy Tale 3. Fantasy 4.
