Six worksheets (12 pages; print two pages per sheet) containing a range of sequential vocabulary matching, short reading, short writing, translation and basic grammar activities to revise and consolidate language and structures from Acces Studio units 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 and 12 (greetings, how you are, age and birthday, family members, (who) is called / are called, where I live, countries and nationalities). I use them in the run-up to assessments to support pupils writing in sentences. Instructions are in English. Later activities are supported by earlier ones. Please note that formatting is optimised for printing two pages per sheet, hence the 12 pages - mostly because I live for A5-sized worksheets.

Instructions and guidance to invent own surreal poem in the style of Dans Paris by Paul Éluard. Instructions are in English and there is a list of conjugated verbs in French and English that pupils could substitute. A basic writing grid is supplied. Please note that the full poem is not included - just a few quotes. The sharp-eyed will notice that the original poem uses the past historic but the supplied verbs are given in the perfect tense for reasons of sanity.

A one-page resource with six brief summaries in French of the film Entre les murs (the class) to use when introducing the film and to stimulate discussion. Five out of the six opinions could be justified to an extent, and one of them is absurd in order to test students' comprehension!

A cover sheet with spaces for students to record their GCSE grade, target and mock grades, evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and a pre-course checklist. There are progress trackers covering translation, stimulus cards, practice of Paper 1 and Paper 2 as well as space for vocabulary tests. Spaces are provided for students to record feedback / targets. Translations are referred to as versions 1, 2 or 3 since Hodder Dynamic Learning supplies three differentiated translations per topic.
