At upReach, we passionately believe in empowering young people through education, networks and skill sharing, which is why we created our Aspire guide. A free 64-page guide and online Career Video Library, Aspire is designed to help your students understand their post-18 options. Distributed to more than 2,800 state schools across the UK, it provides advice, inspiration and information on a range of post-18 opportunities, from university to school leaver programmes and apprenticeships. Featuring exclusive guidance from experts across a range of sectors, advice on student loans and budgeting, top CV tips and advice on wellbeing management, Aspire was created to help your students make informed decisions about their future. Alongside the guide, we also provide a teacher toolkit to ensure your students are getting the most value out of this resource, including a 15-minute Assembly Presentation, a shorter, 5-minute presentation for Daily Notices and an easy-to-use Teacher Guide and Script.

The Aspire Guide 2023/24

(0)
Produced by the social mobility charity upReach, Aspire is a set of resources providing state school post-16 students with free information, advice and inspiration to help them better understand all their career and further education options. The 64-page Aspire Guide provides a comprehensive overview of different post-18 options, from university to school leaver programmes and apprenticeships, as well as careers advice and inspiration. Fully updated for 2022/24, the Guide also showcases important role models: students who have come from less-advantaged backgrounds and broken into careers that can otherwise seem hard to reach. To support teachers in maximising this resource, upReach have also developed a teacher toolkit of ready-made assembly presentations and scripts to accompany the Guide. Using this toolkit, teachers have the flexibility to deliver a post-18 careers assembly for their students that lasts anywhere from 5 minutes to 35 minutes.
