Kaboom SPAG game Year 6 - SATS revision

(0)
This is a game that is designed for mainly Year 6 children and is perfect for SATS revision. It can be easily adapted for other year groups. It covers all of the Year 6 SPAG curriculum. The children will have so much fun playing the game and can be played in a number of ways. Included in this set (all PDF): 80 playing cards with a different question on 12 kaboom cards (you can decide how many to use) Instruction sheet Answers (which are on the same style cards and the text is in red) Ideally the cards would be printed and laminated or printed onto card so that they can be used over and over again. You can print them a number of different sizes to suit you - is currently 4 to a page. How to Play: The teacher picks groups of three or more children (don’t have too many in a group) One child is the ‘teacher’ of the game and will have the answers. The first child picks a card from the pile or the cup and read it to the group. They answer the question on a whiteboard preferably. If the child is correct, they get to keep the card. If they are incorrect, they put their card back to the bottom of the pile or back in the cup. If they pick a KABOOM card, the child has to put ALL their cards back to the bottom of the pile. Give the children a time limit and at the end, the player with the most cards is the winner. Have fun playing the game!
