A series of resources in German to use with students linked to the 2026 Football World Cup. Resources include whole class, small group/pair and individual activities. Each resource is designed to be used as a standalone resource, but could also be used as part of a series of lessons. I have included resources on football vocabulary and terminology, countries participating in the World Cup, languages, flags, the host cities and stadiums, players, an imaginary match report and general World Cup information and quizzes. There are opportunities here for the students to get some dictionary practice, do independent research and to do project work.
