Hello, This is aimed at upper KS2 and KS3. Each lesson comes with PPT and Resources. I have created an assessment. I have included a knowledge organiser which students can revise from or make use of practice exam questions. I encourage my groups to create flash cards, mind maps, games or look/write/check for keyword revision. There is an extended learning task which could form revision before the assessment or a home learning task over 4 weeks. Topics include: What makes a good role model Martin Luther King Junior Fauja Singh Malala Gandhi Elie Wiesel Dalai Lama/Siddhartha The aim is to look at how we can learn from the good role models in the past, reflect on British Values and what makes a good community. The lesson themes are human rights, prejudice and discrimination, charity, protest, equality, right to education, women's rights. The religions I cover are Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam.

The knowledge organiser is usually given out at the start of a topic so that home learning can be set from it. However, this can be given towards the end. There are practice assessment questions and examples of model answers. Fantastic revision aid for students to create flash cards, mind maps etc.

This is a SoW which includes lesson plans, PPT, resources, video clips, assessments and some home learning tasks. Some resources are differentiated too. This is created in line with the new specification and some lessons make references to the AQA book on Islam.

This resource is suitable for Year 8 and upwards. This would take a whole lesson with a plenary for Q&A or Anonymous question box to answer questions the following lesson. Really engaging documentary. Raises lots of questions and is really informative.

Can be used as a stand alone lesson, ready to go, fully resourced.

This covers the Sikh beliefs around serving the community. It is about charity and dealing with grief. Can be a one off lesson or part of a SoL. See resources bundle for full pack.

At the start of each unit, students are given a knowledge organiser. Weekly home learning tasks are set around the knowledge organiser. It might be look-write-check for keywords, creating a poster, mind map or flash cards etc. There are also exam questions at the bottom with a model answer to help students improve their answers.
