All you need do is join Socrative for free, set up a room name and then the pupils log in, enter their name and complete whichever of the quizes you set up! A great Scrabble starter to get pupils active as soon as they walk in. Basically pupils have to recap previous lesson key words or previous topics key words with the intention of scoring the highest points. Has an excellent literacy focus on spelling also! Here is a powerpoint of the tv show the Chase, pupils will design questions with multiple choice answers and play against each other, however will decide whether to go for a certain grade. I like to also adapt this and play it with either the teacher as the chaser or a more talented pupil to differentiate and test them.
