This pre test directly matches up with the progression sheet and they are to be used together.
Covers AusVELS level 5 to 8.
First of all give the students the pre test. Then use the results of the pre test to make where they are up to on the progression sheet. Work time is then spent by each child working on an area of algebra that the specifically need help with. This also makes it very easy to run meaningful focus groups with a group of students all working on the same progression as well as getting students who are up to the same progression to work together. The ultimate in maths differentiation!!!
