GCSE AQA Sociology Education Escape Room

Looks at a range of topics and sociologists from the Education Unit. A range of tasks with clear instructions for all. I have tried and tested this with my year 11 class! How does the escape room work?: There are 4 missions for you to complete. The first three require you to complete an activity to find a code. Answers are on the PowerPoint. They are hidden slides so that students cannot see the answers. I did this as a relay and it worked wonderfully. I have also listed an Family version of this if you would look to take a look at that resource.

Devolution Quiz Quiz Trade

Devolution Quiz Quiz trade starter or revision activity. This 24 card set makes for a great task for recap! You will need to print and cut the cards out for students. I use small envelopes and give each student a set to take home and use. For the quiz quiz trade activity you may want to just give 3 or 4 cards per student and have 2 sets for the room, so that they will not run into the same cards multiple times. Alternatively you can get students to split 1 pack of cards between two. Parter A asks B the question, if B get it right they take the card. If B gets it wrong A keeps it and vice versa. Student with the most cards at the end wins.

Edexcel B Christianity Revision - Concept Links

This task asks students to make link between the key concepts/topics of the Edexcel GSCE Spec B Christianity. The first slide is instructions with 2 WAGOLLs. Students who are middle or lower ability can make links between 2 topics at a time. Students who are more able should be able to choose 3 or more hexagons to link together. They should be able to see how other chains then links to others. They can do this individually or this can be printed on A3, cut out for students and completed as a group task. I would do this on desks, allowing students to write on the desks using white board pens to make links between the hexagons.
