EYFS - planning for Foundation 2 for Christmas. Each area of the classroom is included to show the continuous provision activities that are going on and to show how the areas have been enhanced for the Christmas topic. It also includes some differentiated challenge ideas for the different areas of learning.

EYFS - Christmas - this is a powerpoint with the numbers 0-20 on reindeer noses. Use for number recognition and ordering. Print off and laminate to use for ordering, matching, missing numbers.

EYFS - phonics. Use the powerpoint to gradually introduce each new word to the sentence. Print off and use as books to take home or as poster sentence display for reading area.

Caterpillar Challenge - for children to pick a caterpillar and stick it with the matching numbered leaf in the middle of the display. Then find the leaf that is one more and one less to add either side of the caterpillar. The caterpillar sections can be counted to match the numbered leaf. Leaves and caterpillars can also be used for ordering numbers to 20. Could also use as a part part whole activity ie which two leaves add up to the numbered caterpillar. Includes powerpoint slides that can be printed off and laminated.

Early Years Foundation Stage = Christmas topic map - overview of the type of activities the children will be doing in Foundation 2 in the different areas of learning. Very useful to send to parents or as a planning prompt.

EYFS leads and teachers - a form to show how a pupil premium child has made progress in all areas of learning and how the pupil premium money has been allocated and used. This includes a worked example and a blank form. This can be adapted for KS1 or 2 by reducing the number of areas of learning down to just reading writing maths if needed.

worked example and blank form of a way to list the interventions a vulnerable child is due to have each week and a way to tick and initial when they occur and give details of the adult supporting. Place to make a comment on the impact or effectiveness of the intervention that week. Useful to prove interventions have taken place if later looking for evidence to put forward in a funding application.

Rabbit faces with number on nose and number bonds in ears. can be used to explore number bonds by folding one ear down and asking children to find the missing bond to total the number on the nose.

Hearts with cvc objects and words to laminate and cut in half. Mix the peices up for children to "mend" by correctly matching the word to the picture. Differentiated by colour and applicable to phase 2 and phase 3 cvc words.
