All activites etc are within the ppt. Lesson was judged 'outstanding' based on new Ofsted guidelines. I used it within a 1hr lesson slot but could have taken more time if it was available.

Activity to find out prior knowledge of separation techniques. After demonstrating or completing experiments themselves pupils then fill in the correct methods. Can then be used alongside 'desert island' powerpoint to assess application of learning.

Practical lesson to enable students to measure the density of different materials and complete calculations. Created using a great practical worksheet from TES resources but put into a mission impossible theme and amended to fit my lower ability class.

Lesson to revisit pressure and density calculations with my lower ability year 9 class using James Bond as inspiration. Updated March 2016 to correct error in code.
