This half term planning is ideal to be used alongside the Collins Geography scheme for volcanoes for upper Key Stage 2. The unit of work is How do volcanoes affect the life of people living n Hiemaey ? There are 6 weeks worth of plans, video links and ideas.

This is a local study but there are lots of lessons that can be used as part of the Tudor study for eg an introduction to the Tudors, a lesson on the Spanish Armada, a Queen Elizabeth 1st lesson and a debate whether Francis Drake was a hero or a villian!
