This lesson is an introduction to what the Internet is and what E-Commerce is. This is all based on the Business Communication Systems course and what they need to know to pass the theory exam for that. There is a teachers PPT which takes the class through the theory and a PowerPoint that the students edit to answer questions. On each of the slides in the speaker notes section I have put instructions on what the students have to do on that question. What's covered: Internet, Search Engines, Boolean Operators, E-Commerce along with some case study/exam style questions.

Business Documents - Integrated Task - Logo, Letterhead, Spreadsheet and Database.

A worksheet based on the fictional company MyFace.com. The students are asked to create a logo for their business in Fireworks (or whatever application you use) and then use that within a letterhead. They are then asked to create a Spreadsheet and a database. I have used this for both ICT and Business Communication Systems as a skills test and recap. Especially before the practical exam. I also use this to try and get the students to manage their time to make sure they get everything complete in the time given.

Audience Theory Recap Quiz - Used for Starter and Plenary

(1)
Very simple PowerPoint quiz that goes through how an Audience can be split up. I have used this as both a Plenary at the end of a presentation lesson and as a Starter to recap what they should have learnt the lesson before. Aimed mostly at Years 7 and 8 but I have used it for some KS4 students who are doing the BTEC and have to talk about audience and purpose and don't seem to understand it.
