This is an A3 worksheet that includes analysis questions about Van Gogh's Starry Night. There are boxes for students to write their answers in, so work can completed on the sheet. I used this for baseline analysis assessment for my year 7 students.

I have used it with my year 9s as a homework task during our topic on portraits, it is more contemporary and therefore intended to interest them. The tasks are ordered in level of challenge and students can opt for any task. The fourth task is the most challenging.

This task sheet gives students the opportunity to explore Hattie Stewart's style of working. It gives them a range of options- graded via number of starts to represent level of challenge. Green star is the most challenging.

This PowerPoint contains activities throughout and includes a note sheet for students to compare the effects of the appeasement on both Britain and Germany.

Introductory PowerPoint that explains Photography terms: Close-up Macro Shutter Speed: Slow and fast shutter Depth of field Each slide includes example images and a definition. I used the started worksheet first which was a match up sheet of term and its definition. Students then moved around the room in pairs with coloured stars- they attempted to guess which type of shot each image (included for printing at end of PPT along with definitions to assist lower ability) was and then explained why they thought this. Powerpoint has the answers. Then students created a mind map of terms using their definitons and the small printed images.
