Revision PowerPoint for AQA Trilogy paper 1 Biology. A mixture of student tasks (green slides) and exam questions (blue slides) all slides have answers.
I do recommend printing copies as student worksheets as it can be quite hard to read from back of a lab! Suitable for higher tier. Can be adapted to triple level with ease.
5 rounds of fun facts about humans. Will take a whole hour (the dingabts round I let them do continually through the quiz)
The dingbats is geared towards KS5 but only a few of them are from A level and I have done it fine with lower years.
Hopefully save you some work for end of term fun!
Aimed for year 7-13 and a great way to encourage team work and some alternative ways of thinking and resillience!
Kids love it (even if they are not very good at it at first)
There are loads of slides to choose from.
Required practical tracker for AQA A Level biology students. A good way for them to track the completion of each RP and the CPAC and AT that are being assessed.
Space for teacher to tick when they have assessed it.
Lesson 4 in sequence - looking at the synapse. I used tops of tables and modelled the synapse using moveable ions which I can share with you if you enquire.
Lesson 2 in sequence - action potentials.
I modelled the action potential and how it was generated using wallpaper and moveable ions. Please contact me if you want to know more specific.s
Lesson 3 in the sequence, focussing on speed of action potentials. I used the table top in my lab to model the action potential so please enquire if you want some more guidance.
These are knowledge organiser style information sheets that can support student revision. They are not active learning, so have no questions or activities, they are purely reference sheets. I have used the kerboodle unit numbers as we use these in my school. They are for AQA GCSE Biology but also suited to GCSE trilogy science (biology) for AQA too.
