Cambridge Technical Level 3 2016 - IT Student Assignment: Unit 9: Product Development

(1)
The purpose of this assignment is to provide a scenario and set of tasks that are typical of how an Application Designer would use application design skills, to enable you to assess your learner against the requirements specified in the grading criteria. The scenario and its tasks are intended to give a work-relevant reason for applying the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to achieve the unit. This assignment will not instruct learners how to meet the highest grade. Whether learners achieve a pass, merit or distinction will depend on what evidence they produce. You can modify the scenario we provide in this assignment to make it more relevant to your local or regional needs. I have been teaching Cambridge Technicals for 5 years now, and the resources which I have personally created, have enabled many students to thrive within IT. All resources are unbranded, which enables you to make it your own.

Edexcel GCSE Business 9-1 - Theme 2 Test Paper Assessment Overview

(0)
This document is a excellent assessment overview of the GCSE Theme 2 exam paper. It enables students to identify what their strengths and area of development are for each question, based on knowledge and technical responses. This is also easily adaptable for other test papers. My school use a tick to indicate strength and an arrow to indicate development areas. I have taken a picture of how the assessment looks. On the second page, there is also guidance to support the students in answering 3, 6, 9 and 12 mark questions. This is also linked to each question, which identifies to each student where to look to see guidance on answering each style question. This lightens my marking workload and also is very effective for students to identify where their strengths and development areas are (knowledge, technical response and unit areas eg. 2.1, 2.4).
