This is a work booklet focusing on the relations between the USA and USSR between 1945-1991. This booklet required no Power-Point and can simply be taught under a visualiser. Students ultimately work towards answering the question on the front of the booklet. Throughout the booklet there are opportunities for students to turn & talk and use mini-white boards. This is a Three Topic booklet that takes pupils through the impact of both Lenin and Stalins government on the people of the Soviet Union. The booklet is split into three ‘sub-topics’ rather than ‘lessons’ as this gives teachers the opportunity to take their time with tasks and doesn’t limit you to three lessons. There is a mixture of tasks, ranging from long written answers, to sorting exercises and turn&talk/mini whiteboard. There is also a space at the top of the front page to place your own school logo (if you chose). I finished the unit by getting pupils to answer the main question on the front, this is only an option though. *Some tasks may have been inspired by resources i have purchased on TES

This is a booklet to use with GCSE students when they visit Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds. This museum is a must for any schools studying Medicine Through Time or the People’s Health. This booklet was created in September 2023 after a recent visit where I found out that the museum i visited last in 2016 was now very different. Including in the package is an answer booklet that can be given to staff so even non-specialists can help any pupils who are struggling.

This is a lesson I used with my Y11’s to get them to realise how straight forward the interpretations questions on paper 3 could be (specifically questions 3b and 3c) I printed the slides 18 and 19 onto A3 o they had access to all the materials when needed.

Introduction lesson for the slavery unit. Puts pupils in the position of a slave trader, in today's circumstances. Allows pupil to see which countries/continents were involved and what else was being transported along with people.

A lesson that allows students to assess the reasons why Truman decided to bomb Japan. Activity allows pupils to investigate the real reasons behind the bombing, rather than believing it was to end the war. I have used this lesson with both Y12 and Y9
