This is a whole scheme of work complete with an 84 slide powerpoint and resources for teaching AOS3 Traditional Music. It goes through each recommended listening artist, with activities, from the AQA website and has the analysis for the Santana study pieces. I can't include the sheet music for copyright reasons but the questions should work with any version of the songs. Any comments or feedback would be much appreciated!

I created this for my KS4 students to use as revision for their exam. It explains what types of questions come up and on which specific set works for the Edexcel spec.
A composition planning sheet I used for my Year 10 students who were starting about their assessed composition. It breaks down how it is assessed and asks questions about how they might start their composition.

Great to use as an end of term activity!

Questions are on notes of the treble clef, bass clef, performance directions, note values, dynamics and musical sums.

Includes a 108 slide presentation with answers and a worksheet.

A worksheet introducing the new topic of Rock Music. Students are required to fill in the blanks with musical language key words. Sound files are found on YouTube.
An invaluable resource for A2 Music students sitting the listening exam. Papers from 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 have been broken down into catergories such as intervals, cadences, modulation and much more. Students can then identify which area they need to work on and teachers can spot the trends in mistakes students are making. Come with all music tracks labelled clearly for which question, a student booklet and teacher booklet with answers.

Please read: For some music tracks there are two excerpts, please refer to the list of excerpts on the AQA website to clarify.

The following questions use the 2nd excerpt from the track, so you'll have to wind it on a bit!
