This is a tutorial of how to draw a geometric, Islamic tile. In this video, for the second section I have used paints but you could equally colour in your tile.

This is a resource based upon the Saltire. There are some facts, and discussion points. There is then a prompt for learners to design their own flag and write a couple of sentences on it. Probably suitable for P1-2.

These resources are a mix from Sparklebox and Twinkl as a means of teaching SEAL Maths. They can be done as flashcards, fastest finger, paired work and are good for starters. These meet all areas of early level E’s + O’s and benchmarks, but have predominately been used in first level for introduction/consolidation/recap.

This resource enables learners to think about the five pillars of Islam. There are two BBC Teach videos incorporated. The idea is that throughout the video learners make notes, or this can be constructed as a whole class. Then, learners are provided with a 5 pillars of Islam template. You can use the one on the powerpoint/find one similar/draw one out. Then, learners add words and pictures for what each pillar represents. For an extension task I asked learners to film themselves or a peer, talking through each pillar and why they have included certain words/pictures.
