This is the first lesson within the Ethics unit of Life and Death. The aim of this lesson is to introduce (or reintroduce) students to different religious creation stories alongside the theories of evolution and the Big Bang. If we can understand our own beliefs of how life came into being, then how does this reflect on our beliefs about life and its value? There are video links included and all tasks are differentiated (colour coded) to help with students progress.

This resource deals with the ethical issue of the acquisition of wealth and the problem of poverty. It contains a highly differentiated PowerPoint with activities and video links. There is also a supporting sheet detailing homework, which could easily be adapted for other exam boards (by changing the mark of the question). This is a 21 page resource, with a self-assessment sheet at the front, to help students with the revision of the new Eduqas Religious Studies GCSE. It is content heavy with some information in table format and colour coded into sections to help students with their revision.

This resource supports the Eduqas Religious Studies Route A Christianity course. It contains a colour coded series of revision sheets and includes activities and exam practice at the back of the booklet. It does compliment the textbook and aims to consolidate learning from the second part of the Christianity paper on practices.

This lesson looks at the biological and psychological explanations of crime. I have used the sociological views of Lombroso and Bowlby and linked these to numerous case studies to get students engaged and thinking.
