I have created a KS1 collage unit for Art, based on the modern artist Ben Lewis Giles. This includes the unit plan, 6 lesson PowerPoints and resources. This is a fun unit where the children can be creative and work towards creating their own story through collage, in the style of Ben Lewis Giles. The unit begins looking at what collage is; then 12 different collage techniques are practiced; before moving on to planning, creating and evaluating their own collage. Obviously you will need to collect collage materials (e.g. magazines etc.).
