Print off these A3 pdf posters for students to fill in themselves, to help them revise knowledge for the upcoming exams. I use the Brain, Buddy, Book, Boss technique. In pairs students must fill in as much of the poster allocated to them, as possible. When stuck, they can join up with another pair of students, to make a small group, and use their buddies to add more detail. They can then either swap incomplete posters with another group OR use their books or revision guides to get them completed. Finally, I intervene to re-cap or re-teach topics that I’ve seen they’re struggling with. So, I have assessed their revision needs first, before launching into revision topics blind. These are handwritten posters. There are 26 for Paper One and 29 for Paper Two, so 55 posters in total. They cover every topic in the specification and are numbered accordingly e.g. 1.1.3. There are two pdfs, one for each paper. The style is basic. It is the students that bring the colour and style, making it their own work. We display them around the room once complete.

These popular mindmaps are in a revision clock format and cover every topic of the AQA A Level Business course 7132, adapted for exams from 2025. This means these revision materials don’t have the abandoned models like Greiner’s Model or Bowman’s Clock. There are two formats for each topic. They are PowerPoints, so can easily be adapated, e.g. for font size or colour. 25 slides in total. I use them by; making them accessible to all years on our Google Classroom using them in lesson, for in-class revision, ahead of unit assessments before mock exams for homework

Three essay feedback sheets for 9, 15 and 25 mark answers to A Level Economics, AQA specification. I use these when returning sixth form students’ answers. They get to see the marking codes I use for speedy and accurate marking, relating to the AOs, assessment objectives. Levels and grade descriptors are clear. Essay checklist e.g. PEAL paragraphs included as is space on the reverse for students to identify areas of strengths and weakness. I use these sheets when students first attempt the different lengths of question, training them to remember all the golden rules around using definitions, PEAL paragraphs, including context as well as appropriate, accurate and well referred diagrams. The marking codes can be adapted to suit your centre.

a 27 slide PowerPoint of revision tasks, questions and activities for GCSE Business Edexcel 9-1. There are recall tasks, diagrams to label, formula to complete, sentences to fill in. All the answers are given in the notes for each slide. It’s in two parts; for Paper One and Paper Two. I’ve used it already to prepare my Year 11s for their mock exams. It shows them the range of topics in each paper and enables them to evaluate which of the topics they need to revise in depth, i.e. they found the recall slide on a topic difficult.

All exam questions for the GCSE in Economics by AQA are included in this scheme of work that maps the questions to the topics. It includes both sets of Sample Assessment Materials (SAM and SAM2) and 2019 and the recent 2020 exam papers. This resources makes it easy for teachers to find past paper questions to give out for homework, model answer practice in class, plenaries or revision. It’s also great to give out at the start of the year at the front of students’ folders or books. The resource is split into two halves, one per theme/exam paper.

This is an adaptation of Edexcel’s AOs for their GCSE Business 9-1. The Assessment Objectives have been altered to be a student friendly handout in student speak, stating what they can or should achieve at the next level. The handout takes the form of a leveled mark scheme that has 3 descriptions. The first level describes grades 1 up to 3, the second level describes grades 4 up to 6 and the final level describes grades 7 up to 9. This resource can be printed as a landscape A4 handout, file sheet, reference. You could easily copy it into another format, for Word or PowerPoint etc.

These are feedback sheets for A Level Business essays, for questions worth 9, 12, 16, 20, 24 and 25 marks, so six different sheets, Each sheet includes marking codes - can be adapted to suit your school/college levels and grades essay checklist feedback grid for each AO assessment objective Each feedback sheet is tailored to the number of marks, e.g. shorter questions which don’t require AO4 evaluation don’t have these aspects- to keep them concise and clear. I use these sheets before assessments, to remind the students of the demands of each question type e.g. a full evaluation and ongoing evaluation for the longer questions. Students use them after the assessment to self assess their performance and see how they could progress up a level. They get to see how grades are judged in levels and the weighting of assessment objectives as well as how to meet these AOs.

This PowerPoint has questions WITH ANSWERS to test students’ knowledge of every topic on the Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Business specification, 1BS0. I use them to check subject knowledge when revising in class, ahead of unit tests or end of year mocks. Each topic has a slide of questions, followed by one with the answers. There are between 10 to 13 questions for each topic. A version for GCSE AQA Economics is also available.

Having taught the topic of Business Plans I then give my students a few lessons to create their own Business Plans. These template help them with the structure. It reminds them what the precise nature of the aspects are, e.g. the difference between aims and objectives or fixed versus variable costs. The best students create really original ideas. Others think about a plan for existing businesses e.g. window cleaning, and this is fine too. The aim of the plan is for them to revise/remember the 8 aspects of a business plan and to have some creative time too. This template was specifically designed for Edexcel Business 9-1 but it will help in any GCSE specification that has business plans within it. These simple cards are easy to print for students or to email them for completion. There are 6 cards per A4 sheet. The cards encourage A Level geography students in particular to condense their notes. They can focus on 5 key facts. The cards also encourage the students to categorize their case studies by topic, i.e. which area of study is this place going to be used as evidence for? I like to encourage students to build up a bank or file, colour coded per topic e.g. all Tectonic case study cards in orange, all Water case study cards in blue etc.

This resource is good for revising Bowman’s Strategic Clock, as part of the A Level Business AQA specification.
