This resource is a fully annotated and detailed analysis of the entirety of the WJEC Eduqas Poetry Anthology for examinations from 2017 onwards. All poems are annotated in detail and include thorough comments on context, aspects of style and language evaluation.

Attached is various evidence that students have to study, and infer information from (tickets, text messages, postcards, birth certificates, twitter posts) to come to a conclusion as to how the lady was murdered- or was she?
This is a full Scheme of Work for Reading Fiction for KS3 English. Included is an anthology of extracts from prose novels featuring alternative reality (all relatively recently written, with a few exclusions) and a 128 slide PPT, which has activities and tasks for 16/17 lessons. In light of current KS4 language exam specifications requiring analysis of prose extracts, this SOL worked well in familiraising students with extracts, and building analysis, evaluative and writing skills.
Lessons include character analysis, evaluation of language and setting, as well as tasks such as creating your own Hogwart's sorting Hat song, and organising a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, using the text to inspire creativity.

The lesson was based on the theme of The Football World Cup- students work in groups to fill in gaps of a newspaper article, as well as structure their own article for a specific audience (as seen in image)/.
Attached is a 19th/21st Century Non-Fiction Reading paper- the questions are in the same style as the Eduqas exam paper. The two articles are based on nursing- one being Nightingale's account of the Crimean war, and the modern text is an article on modern day nursing. There is a mark scheme attached, as well as exemplar responses (one annotated and one not), there is also a ppt to go with the exam paper.
