Lesson sequence: 1 - What is weather & climate 2 &3- Cloud, rainfall and the water cycle 4 & 5 - Anticyclones & depressions 6 & 7 - Air masses & climate graphs 8 & 9 - Making weather equipment and weather forecasting

6-8 lessons on Settlements, aimed at KS3 students, specifically year 7. Included are worksheets and printables I created that support activities in PPTs. Lessons are for 50 mins to 1 hour teaching episodes, and some are for a double lesson. Lesson sequence: 1- -How settlements get their names, with examples from North Somerset 2 - Settlement patterns 3 - Settlement hierarchies 4 & 5 - Urban land use 6 & 7 - Choosing a settlement - our task is to choose somewhere to live on an imaginary island - 5 locations to choose from, consolidating learning from previous lessons. This makes a very nice extended writing assessment piece, as students can write a report in the style of a GCSE decision making report.

A set of printable, editable revision planner documents, designed to support revision of Theme 3 of Eduqas Geography - Environmental Challenges They are formatted to be printed on A3, but you can edit these to suit. They include examples and case studies that I personally have taught, so again you may wish to change these to meet your teaching examples used. These do not include revision notes, the intention is that students use them as a template to make their own notes. I also used these to set homework over school holidays and extended absences.
