Commenting on and reviewing how successful something has been achieved
Lesson time is approx 1.5 hours. This goes alongside an additional powerpoint for a second lesson covering skills on comparisons.

Full 90 minute powerpoint-led lesson using Katy Perry’s “Roar” and Foreigner’s “Eye of the Tiger” for similarity and comparison question.
Lessons designed to assist GCSE students with writing a speech. The lesson focuses on recognition of features of a speech, leading on to higher ability students adding to a scripted speech and less able students going on to feature spotting.
This was written for the new Edexcel 2.0 spec, but can be used for all transactional / non-ficton writing classes.
